Who are we?
Chiral Studios LLC is a production company run by a husband and wife creative team operating in Virginia, US. We want to tell fun, creative, character-based stories across different media. While we are a small scale production company, that won’t stop us from telling epic stories. You don’t need a big budget to tell big stories. You just need a little bit of honesty and heart. Our endeavors range from feature-length films, short films, video games, and more!

Angelo Espiritu
Angelo Espiritu is an aspiring filmmaker and game developer with a background in acting. He studied chemistry at Old Dominion University but really found his calling in telling stories using visual media.
Part of the fun for him is the constant problem solving regardless of the medium. He strives to bring out honest performances from everyone both in front of and behind the camera. He strongly believes in never letting go of your childhood as his projects attempt to capture the joys he felt when watching TV and films and playing games as a boy.
Despite his background in film, he has branched out into the world of audio fiction as a way to hone his skills in the auditory world. After all, 80% of what you see on screen comes from the sound. Angelo is falling in love with bridging filmmaking and auditory media while respecting their own strengths and limitations.
To Angelo, stories are reflection of reality but not quite the exact same. From this idea comes the name Chiral Studios. In chemistry, chiral molecules are two compounds whose structures are “reflections” of each other, but they are functionally different.
Angelo strongly believes that stories are not meant to simply capture our reality, but to help us understand it.

Catie Espiritu
Catie Espiritu is an English teacher with a passion for supporting creative endeavors of all kinds. She studied English and education at the University of Mary Washington and made the wise decision to marry Angelo in 2020.
When it comes to the creative projects of Chiral Studios, Catie is all about the background tasks. She enjoys editing scripts, taking behind-the-scenes photos, organizing schedules, and making sure that there are always snacks on set. She won't be in front of the camera, but that's perfectly fine with her. Catie is happiest when she's encouraging others to bring out their best creative work -- whether it's in the classroom or on a project.
She strongly believes in the necessity of stories and their power to help us make sense of the world around us.
